You are required to have your BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens) certificate and/or up-to-date and valid in your state and county you will be working
YOU MUST BRING THIS CERTIFICATE TO YOUR TRAINING
Each state and county may be different with what they require. Please make sure you call your local health department before signing up for the training because that is who regulates Piercing Artists. Most states will require you to have a tattoo permit to work in a permitted facility. It is very important and crucial to follow the regulations of your state and county.
You will also need to have liability insurance and a business license.
